I know I don't really go on DeviantArt anymore, but I think this deserves an update. I got into Hertfordshire. Oh yes. This year was their biggest year ever for applicants, with over 1000 people applying. There were only 90 places available and they chose me. I still can't quite believe it. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me out when I was getting started and supported me. I definitely couldn't have done it without you. Oh yea, and did I mention that Hertfordshire was recently named one of the top 10 schools for animation in the world, alongside CalArts and Gnomon? So that's pretty amazing. *Picks up keyboard, blows off dust* It's been a long time. But I'm back. I've had the most stressful, tortuous and weirdest six months of my life. I slaved over my coursework and finished in May (total time spent of Product Design, according to Powerpoint = 205 hours), did 15 hours worth of exams in June and then flew to New York the next day. My flight home got cancelled and I almost missed my graduation dance, but thanks to a fantastically sassy black woman named Angela I got home with 3 hours to spare. GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE. EXAMS ARE OVER YES. FREEDOM. ...Or not. Now that the exams are over, I now have a shed-load of coursework to do. So, the battle has only started really. Sorry for the lack up updates so far this year people, but my college work has to unfortunately take priority until the summer.
